About Us
There’s no place like home. If you are like most American adults, you want to remain in your own home and community for as long as possible. Unfortunately, concerns about safety, mobility and finances derail many people’s best-laid plans.
The good news is that with the right home medical equipment and supplies, many older adults are able to age in place in the comfort of their own home. Here at Howard’s Medical, we have a team ready to help you find the equipment and supplies you need to make your home safe and accessible at a reasonable cost.
Our Story
Launched in 2004, Howard’s Medical began as a small offshoot of a rural pharmacy in Selah, Wash. Inventory was bare at best – one commode, a couple walkers, a basic wheelchair and a smattering of home safety equipment. What the store lacked in inventory, it made up for in passion to provide top-notch customer service and a convenient, local alternative for medical equipment and supplies.
Why Choose Howard's?
We’ve grown and expanded since those early days, but our values remain the same. Your choice matters and we strive to make your experience the best possible. We provide a comprehensive line-up of medical equipment and supplies from the most trusted manufacturers at fair and competitive prices. Don’t let the modest size of our showroom fool you – our extensive warehouse is stocked with nearly anything you might need.
Five Locations to Serve You
Howard’s Medical is a family-owned, full-service provider of home healthcare and durable medical equipment and supplies. We specialize in CPAP, oxygen, complex rehab and mobility solutions and offer four convenient locations in Ellensburg, Selah, Yakima, Sunnyside and Richland.
National Caliber Expertise
Howard’s Medical may have started in a small, rural pharmacy, but today our team’s experience and training rivals any major metropolitan supplier. Our staff includes two RESNA-accredited ATPs (assistive technology professionals) providing high-end complex rehab equipment and two RTs (respiratory therapists) trained to care for patients with acute respiratory issues and chronic lung diseases.
