Howard’s Drug was founded by the Howard family in Selah in 1958. Dave Thome first worked for Howard’s out of pharmacy school in 1965 and then had the opportunity to purchase the pharmacy in 1999 with his wife April. After numerous suggestions from our customers, Dave had the foresight to open up Howard’s Medical in 2004. As a family owned business, it has always been our priority to put our customer’s first. We specialize in taking the time to get to know our patients, see what his/her needs are, and then working with the patient, provider, and caregiver to show what their options are.

Besides the pharmacy, Dave enjoys working on his orchard in Selah. Dave’s wife April owns and runs HED (Home Education Design) in Yakima aiding homeschool families in their education.

We carry a complete line of home health care products and we bill Medicare, Medicaid, and most other third party insurances. If we don't have it in stock; we can get it!
